Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to hold all appointments; this reserves a dedicated space and time for you at Alter EGO.  It’s important to understand that when forgetting or canceling appointments without giving enough notice, stylists lose the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and other clients waiting for appointments miss out on receiving services. For the benefit and respect of all our clients and professionals, Alter EGO appointments are subject to the following terms:

  • You may cancel or modify your appointment without charge anytime up to 24 hours before the start time of your appointment. When doing so, Alter EGO will either refund your deposit or apply it to the rescheduled appointment.

  • Less than 24 hours notice is considered a “Late Cancellation”. If you do not cancel or show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “No Show”. In either case, Alter EGO will not refund your deposit; this will be used to pay your stylist for their time. A new deposit will be required for future appointments.

  • If you “No Show” or Late Cancel two appointments, you may be referred to another salon.

  • Appointments that are booked within the 24-hour period are still subject to the cancellation policy.

  • As a courtesy, appointment confirmation messages are sent 4 days in advance of appointments by email and SMS to the contact information given at time of booking. Failing to respond to those confirmation messages could result in your appointment slot being given to another client.

  • To ensure a full experience, please arrive at least ten minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

  • Late arrivals will be charged the full price of the scheduled service(s) even if there is not enough time to render them.
