Sarah Goodyear is an expressionist mixed media painter originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She is a self-taught artist with no formal training. Her passion to create has allowed her to develop her technique and hone in on a style that is uniquely her own. Most of her work is acrylic and gesso with touches of collaged paper.
Like our dreams, her work is largely emotional and suggestive of feelings by using objects and symbols we recognize but that are not necessarily specific to her own life. When she isn't on the road selling her artwork, she works out of her studio in West Virginia at the beautiful New River Gorge.
